REMOVAL

1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 2UZ-FE COOLING: COOLANT: REPLACEMENT (2008 Sequoia)+

2. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 nuts and throttle body cover sub-assembly.

3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the vacuum hose and No. 2 ventilation hose.

(b) Loosen the 2 hose clamps and remove the air cleaner hose assembly.

4. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY



(a) Disconnect the 2 water by-pass hoses.

(b) Disconnect the throttle body assembly connector.

(c) Remove the 3 bolts, nut, throttle body assembly and gasket.
